Welcome to Volume 2 Issue 5 July 1999 (or Paw Prints 10b in my odd archiving) – all the Newquay Zoo news that’s fit to reprint 20 years later!

I’ve added some photos pf staff and events from our Newquay Zoo Archive as we didn’t have much opportunity to put photos into the old Newsletter.

Appropriately for our 50th anniversary year, here are some reflections on building the zoo in 1969 and our thirtieth birthday.

1972 Newquay Holiday Guide – glimpse of the first or early zoo animals and alongside us on the page, I’m told by some in Newquay that this is possibly Mrs McIntosh, the Newquay Publicity Officers wife, posing for the guidebook?  Newquay’s golden beaches etc.
